NFL Picks and Predictions – Week 2
NFL Picks – Vikings at Steelers
The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a win at home over the New Orleans Saints. Quarterback Sam Bradford had big game as he shredded the Saints defense for 346 yards. Rookie running back Dalvin Cook was also impressive in his NFL début.
But the Steelers struggled some in week one against their AFC North rivals the Cleveland Browns. So logic suggests the Steelers might have trouble stopping the revitalized Minnesota Vikings offense.
However, the Steelers will make their home début this week and that should give them an edge. Plus it’s been reported that Sam Bradford is having trouble with his knee. So he may not be as effective this week as he was in week one.
The Vikings will need to rely on their defense to keep things close. But it’s the Steelers front seven that’s the key to game. They will slow down Dalvin Cook, making harder for Sam Bradford to pass the ball. Where as I think Le’Veon Bell will have a big game for the Steelers in his second week back. Steelers win.

NFL Picks – Bears at Buccaneers
The Bears nearly pulled off the upset in week one at home against the Atlanta Falcons. Quarterback Mike Glennon played well and the Bears put up 125 yards on the ground on the Falcons defense.
Glennon will be out for revenge against his old team the Buccaneers. At one time Glennon was the quarterback of the future for the Bucs. But then they drafted Jameis Winston which made Mike Glennon expendable.
Which is why Glennon will want to play well. That and he’s got Mitch Trubisky ready to come in if he falters. However, even if Glennon plays well, the Bears will have a hard time winning this game.
The Buccaneers are making their home opener and they have too much fire-power on offense for the Bears to keep up.
Winner: Buccaneers
Score prediction: 27-17 Buccaneers
Points spread: Buccaneers -7.0
