NFL Picks and Predictions – Week 2
NFL Picks – 49ers at Seahawks
Head coach Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers could only muster 3 points last week against the Carolina Panthers. This week things won’t get much easier as they go on the road to face NFC East rivals he Seattle Seahawks.
However, the Seahawks only scored 9 points against the Green Bay Packers themselves. So these are two team looking to break out on offense. I think the 49ers offense will have a much tougher time scoring in this game on the Seahawks defense.
The Seahawks will have their home crowd behind them and while this is a division game and a rivalry, I think the Seahawks will win easily.

NFL Picks – Packers at Falcons
A rematch of the NFC Championship game where the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Green Bay Packers and advanced to the Super Bowl. A matchup of two of the top quarterbacks in the league in Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers defense looked good last week against the Seattle Seahawks. However, the Falcons offense will present a greater threat. Also, the Falcons will play their first game in their brand new home, Mercedes Benz Stadium.
SO there will be a raucous environment waiting for the Packers, but there’s no quarterback better equipped to handle that than Aaron Rodgers. The Falcons struggled in week one to beat the Chicago Bears, so they’ll be looking for better execution against their second straight NFC North opponent.
The Packers don’t have a running game, so they will rely on Rodgers to keep the chains moving. The Falcons will look to establish their running game with DeVante Freeman and also get more touches for wide receiver Julio Jones.
While the Packers looked good against the Seahawks, the Falcons offense is just on another level. Aaron Rodgers will keep the Packers close, but the Falcons will win this one.
