49. The Green Bay Packers move down in the rankings from number 8 to 12. The Packers were beaten on the road by the Atlanta Falcons 34-23. The Packers defense could not slow down the Falcons offense and at one point were down 31-7 in the second half. Aaron Rodgers had 3 TD passes and 343 yards but the Packers could only muster 59 yards rushing for the game. The Packers also committed 2 turnovers. The Cowboys were soundly defeated by the Denver Broncos on the road 42-17. The Cowboys powerful offensive line was dominated by the Broncos defense and the Cowboys running game could only muster 40 yards rushing. Dak Prescott was forced to make 50 pass attempts and 2 of those passes were intercepted. In week 3, the Cowboys go on the road to take on the 1-1 Arizona Cardinals.
