The Falcons came within a half yard of losing their first game of the season but staved off disaster as they narrowly defeated the Detroit Lions on the road 30-26. Quarterback Matt Ryan threw 3 interceptions and that’s what kept the Lions in the game as the Falcons were dominating early. Devonta Freeman rushed for 106 yards and scored 1 TD on the ground. The Falcons defense played well considering the turnover margin of +3 for the Lions. In week 4, the Falcons return home to take on the 2-1 Buffalo Bills, who are coming off a big win over the Denver Broncos.

The Kansas City Chiefs leap to the top of the NFL Power Rankings from 3 to 1. The Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers on the road 24-10. Rookie Running back Kareem Hunt led the way with 172 yards rushing with 1 TD. That touchdown became the winning score as Hunt went 69 yards. The Chiefs defense got 3 interceptions from Philip Rivers, while Alex Smith threw 2 TD’s. In week 4, the Chiefs will face the Washington Redskins at home on Monday night.. Beat the Chargers 24-10.
