30. team. 42. The San Francisco 49ers remain at number 30 in the NFL Power Rankings this week. The 49ers lost on the road to their NFC West rivals the Arizona Cardinals 18-15. Another close loss for the 49ers, a week after nearly defeating the Los Angeles Ram, the Niners fall in OT to their second straight division rival in as many weeks. The 49ers defense gave up 368 yards to Cardinals but they were stingy, holding the Cardinals to just field goals until over-time when the Cards scored the winning touchdown. 13. The Los Angeles Chargers move down from number 28 to 29 in the power rankings after week 4. The Chargers lost at home to the Philadelphia Eagles 26-24. The Chargers never led in this game but Philip Rivers nearly pulled off the comeback but came up short in the fourth quarter. Rivers went 22 of 38 for 347 yards and 2 TD’s. However, the Chargers defense gave up 214 yards rushing to the Eagles, with 136 of it gained by LeGarrette Blount.
