17. Buffalo Bills

Buffalo is starting to come back down to earth and are slowly falling out of playoff contention. They need a big rebound game by Tyrod Taylor to get back on track.

18. Detroit Lions

The Lions are trying to keep pace with the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North and several teams in the Wildcard Race. Things are really tight right now and even one loss could be a significant blow to their playoff hopes.

19. Dallas Cowboys

Dallas just doesn’t look like the same team with Ezekiel Elliott out of the lineup. However, it was Tyron Smith who was missed the most this past week. Dallas is one of several teams mixed up in the Wildcard battle.

20. Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons have a tough schedule ahead with games against the Seahawks, Saints and Panthers remaining. If they are going to earn a playoff berth they will need to earn it against some of the best teams in the NFC.

21. Oakland Raiders

Oakland is benefitting from the fact that nobody is running away with the AFC Wildcard slots. It also helps that they have been playing better as of late. They need Derek Carr and company to hit their stride down the stretch.

22. Tennessee Titans

Tennessee squeaked out another win this past week, but still appear vulnerable. They need to start scoring more points in order to overcome their defensive deficiencies.

23. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers looked really good last night against the Miami Dolphins. It was nice to see them finally get some explosive plays on offense. Cam Newton is playing with a ton of confidence right now which is trouble for the rest of the league.

24. Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks haven’t looked great for much of the year, but will need to get hot down the stretch. They are facing a surprising challenge by the Los Angeles Rams for the NFC West title.
