Trouble Brewing with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots?

There’s an interesting story developing between the New England Patriots, Tom Brady and Brady’s personal trainer.

The New England Patriots are in the middle of another excellent season. They are obviously one of the the favorites to make a Super Bowl appearance. However, some trouble could be bubbling under the surface.

ESPN has shared a story from the Boston Globe which details a problem between the Patriots and Tom Brady’s trainer. On the surface it doesn’t seem like something that could as major issue, but the details are very interesting.

The basics are that the Patriots have extremely limited this trainer’s access to the team. The trainer, Alex Guerrero, has worked with Brady for awhile and one of his close friends.

Brady was quoted saying the following:

"“I don’t have any comment on that other than to say Alex, it’s been well-documented, has been a huge part of what I do, and I’m so fortunate to have him not only as a friend, but with everything that we’ve been able to do together.”and that Guerrero  “has been a huge, huge reason why I’m (Brady) still playing”."

The Patriots need to tread lightly because Brady comes across as a guy who will stick up for the important people in his life. Guerrero and Brady are not only friends they are also business partners.

It’s interesting timing as the Patriots recent trade of Jimmy Garoppolo signals that they expect Brady to be around for a few more seasons. Logic would say that it doesn’t make sense to alienate the guy Brady sees as the reason he is able to still take the field.
