5. *TRADE* Cleveland Browns (via Den)Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama

Cleveland slides down a few spots, picks up some extra draft capital and lands an elite defender in Minkah Fitzpatrick. This scenario is completely dependent on the Browns finding a veteran quarterback in free agency.

Fitzpatrick is a playmaker in the secondary who has a nose for the football. He is also extremely versatile with the flexibility to play either cornerback or safety. His skill set makes him sort of a position-less player who can be aligned based on matchups.

6. New York Jets– Sam Darnold, QB, USC

This would be a dream scenario for the Jets as they would land their quarterback of the future. Darnold has his warts, but his upside is through the roof. The Jets could make brining back Josh McCown a priority to help mentor Darnold.

7. Tampa Bay BuccaneersMike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame

Mike McGlinchey may not be a flashy player but he someone who does his job. His experience at both left and right tackle gives him position versatility. The Buccaneers need to stabilize their offensive line in order to protect Jameis Winston and establish a run game.

8. *TRADE* Washington Redskins (via Chi)Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma

The Redskins are very likely to lose Kirk Cousins via free agency. This means they will need to be aggressive in order to address this issue. The Bears can afford to move down a few spots as their needs don’t really matchup with value here.

Personnally, I have my questions about Mayfield’s ability to succeed in the NFL. His size and untamed play are cause for concern. However, he appears to have plenty of supporters which means this is a realistic range for him to come off the board.
