The New York Giants draft Josh Rosen

New York is going to have a chance to add a top-end quarterback prospect with the No. 2 overall pick. The only thing left for them to do is evaluate the prospect and make the right choice. It won’t be an easy task, but based on-field play Josh Rosen makes the most sense.

The big question for the Giants will be whether or not Rosen has character issues that could hurt his development. Dave Gettleman has that unenviable task of sifting through the rumors and reports surrounding Rosen’s character.

It’s possible that most of those reports are overblown and Rosen just is someone who has a unique personality. There are plenty of NFL quarterbacks who come off as arrogant but still find tons of success in the league.

Rosen’s on-field play shows an elite passer who has a natural feel for the position. He is someone who features a strong throwing arm and the ability to deliver an accurate football. His anticipation is also something that jumps off the screen.

The Giants will have some other options if they decide Rosen could be too much of a headache. They own the No. 2 pick and will have plenty of quarterback choices.
