The Buffalo Bills orchestrate a draft-day trade that lands them Baker Mayfield

It’s hard to imagine a scenario where the Tyrod Taylor returns to the Buffalo Bills. They obviously don’t see him as a long-term starter and didn’t handle things well last year. Taylor should have a solid enough market for him to find another landing spot.

This means that Buffalo needs to find a new starting quarterback. They obviously like Nate Peterman some, but he didn’t look very good in limited action.

The more likely scenario is for the Bills to make an aggressive move in the 2018 NFL Draft to grab their quarterback of the future. They currently own 8 draft picks including two in the 1st and 2nd round. This is plenty of ammo for Buffalo to move up the draft.

Baker Mayfield did a lot to help his stock during the Senior Bowl. He has put himself in the mid-1st round mix. His accuracy and fiery attitude would bring a spark to the Bills offensive attack.

With around $31 million in cap space, the Bills could potentially find a starting quarterback in free agency. The Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott combo has proven to be a creative duo and surely have a plan to attack their quarterback need.
