Super Bowl LII will feature some of the biggest stars in the NFL, but what about the next generation? These are the five best rookies in The Big Game.

The New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles will square off on Sunday, Feb. 4 in one of the most unexpected Super Bowl matchups in recent history. Tom Brady and the Patriots are Super Bowl mainstays, but the Eagles made their run without star quarterback Carson Wentz.

Nevertheless, the star power of Super Bowl LII will command a vast majority of the attention. The question is: What about the stars of the future?

Brady is the headliner, but there are a number of marquee players to evaluate. Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham are widely regarded as two of the best defensive linemen in the NFL, Patrick Robinson had a criminally underrated season, Zach Ertz is a borderline elite tight end, and the duo of Jay Ajayi and LeGarrette Blount will be out for different forms of vengeance.

On New England’s side of things, Rob Gronkowski and Brandin Cooks are Pro Bowl level players, and Devin McCourty is a criminally underrated franchise cornerstone.

Beyond the obvious names, however, is a cast of players who represent the future of each organization: The rookies. Some are more revered than others, but both teams have individuals with intriguing potential and a hunger for immediate greatness.

The question is: Who are the five best rookies on the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles entering Super Bowl LII?
