Corey Clement is one of the feel-good stories of the 2017 NFL season as an undrafted rookie turned significant playmaker. The former Wisconsin Badgers star was overlooked during the NFL Draft process, but has since become a dynamic contributor for the Philadelphia Eagles.

It’s fair to question how much of a role he’ll have against the New England Patriots, but given what we know about the Super Bowl, he could be of importance.

Clement was active for all 16 regular season games for the Eagles, making his first true mark on the game in Week 3 when he ran for a touchdown against the New York Giants. He received 10-plus carries in three separate games, thriving in two.

Clement ran for 54 yards on 10 carries against the San Francisco 49ers, and picked up 51 rushing yards on 12 carries against the Denver Broncos.

The Denver game was the shining example of what Clement is capable of giving Philadelphia. He put three total touchdowns on the board, including two on the ground and one on a 15-yard receiving touchdown that further displayed his versatility.

The Super Bowl often requires teams to think outside the box, and Clement is the type of player who could help the Eagles do exactly that.

For what it’s worth: Clement has nine touches for 64 yards through two playoff games.
