Edge Defender. Boston College Eagles. Harold Landry. 25. player. 35.

The Tennessee Titans run a 3-4 defense that’s led, in some part, by edge defenders Derrick Morgan and Brian Orakpo. Morgan and Orakpo are entering the final season of their respective contracts, however, which calls for a long-term replacement.

Harold Landry may prove to be raw in the short-term, but that makes the Titans the perfect organization to help him develop into the Pro Bowler he’s capable of becoming.

Landry is one of the best pure pass rushers in the 2018 NFL Draft. He has long arms and explosive athleticism, which is a combination of traits that a team like Tennessee can mold into something special as far as getting after the quarterback is concerned.

Landry is somewhat undersized at 6’3″, but arm length and athleticism remains a compelling combination that will intrigue general managers.

Landry displayed how dominant he can be with a 2016 campaign to remember. He tallied 22.0 tackles for loss and led the NCAA in both sacks (16.5) and fumbles forced (7)—numbers that speak for themselves.

Landry missed time in 2017 due to an ankle injury, but if his health checks out, his upside will be known by every team in the NFL.
