3. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts would benefit greatly from adding a superstar running back in Saquon Barkley or a premier edge defender in Bradley Chubb. Both possibilities exist, as at least one quarterback is likely to come off the board during the first two picks.

The Colts have issues all over the field, however, and would benefit from utilizing multiple first-round draft picks to address those issues.

With two of the first 22 picks in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Colts could address multiple flaws with Pro Bowl level players. Andrew Luck and T.Y. Hilton provide a solid foundation on offense, but the offensive line is a glaring weakness.

In this scenario, the Colts could conceivably select an offensive tackle or guard at No. 12 and target the pass rush at No. 22—or flip the script.

If Indianapolis opted to go a different route, linebackers Tremaine Edmunds or Roquan Smith should be available at No. 12. Other options at both spots could include wide receiver D.J. Chark, cornerbacks Josh Jackson and Denzel Ward, and safety Ronnie Harrison.

As for Buffalo, it has a chance to select a franchise quarterback at No. 3 and still walks away with two second-round draft picks, a late third, and a mid-fourth.
