. Offensive Tackle. Oklahoma Sooners. Orlando Brown. 18. player. 36

Russell Wilson needs to hold the ball less when he’s in the pocket, but the Seattle Seahawks also need to give him a better pocket to throw from. Seattle surrendered 209 pressures in 2017 and can’t go through the first round without addressing that flaw.

Thankfully, Oklahoma Sooners tackle Orlando Brown falls to No. 18 in this scenario and ends up being the perfect fit for this offense and organization.

Brown will need to fill his frame out with muscle before he can realize his potential, but it’s undeniable that it exists. He’s a 6’8″ and 345-pound Goliath of an offensive lineman with long arms and a massive wingspan.

The son of a former NFL player, Brown also has the background of a player who understands what it means to be successful at the professional level.

There’s some risk involved here, but Brown is more polished than Ereck Flowers was at this stage of his development. Thus, while there may be a learning curve, Brown projects to be a high-quality offensive lineman and a surefire starter at the next level.

For a Seahawks team that needs nothing more than to give Wilson a better pocket, drafting a player who protected Baker Mayfield could be the answer.
