The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the process of returning to the status of a truly dominant team. That’s easier said than done, but Pittsburgh is as close to that status as any team in the NFL due t the presence of an explosive offense and promising young talent on defense.

With a need to improve at safety, the Steelers select the player who could potentially round this team into form: Alabama Crimson Tide safety Ronnie Harrison.

Harrison has excellent size for a safety at 6’2″ and 207 pounds. He also has elite length for a player at his position, with a wingspan that falls in the 94th percentile and arm length that lands in the 93rd percentile.

There’s more to the game than being big, long, and athletic, but Harrison also has the makeup speed to recover in coverage and the physicality to make plays against the run.

What makes Harrison such a great fit here is that he doesn’t necessarily rely on any one strength. He isn’t going to wow viewers in any specific area, but he’s a well-rounded player who can make a positive impact across the board.

The Steelers already have a promising secondary, but the addition of Harrison would make the team an even better and stronger unit.
