The Cleveland Browns have four of the first 35 picks in the 2018 NFL Draft. These five safeties should be considered with those picks.

When the Cleveland Browns selected Jabrill Peppers at No. 25 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, many applauded the decision. Peppers was a player without a defined position, but he was also one of the most dynamic and versatile prospects in quite some time.

Unfortunately, Peppers’ rookie season didn’t go according to plan—due in large part to the fact that he played most possessions out of position.

Peppers has the tools to be a dynamic safety who can play a seemingly infinite number of roles. The key to Peppers’ game, however, is being close enough to the line of scrimmage for his versatility to come into play.

When he’s tasked with playing at the back of a defense as the free safety, his range is somewhat limited due to the responsibility of his position.

Thankfully, the Browns have options to consider at free safety in the 2018 NFL Draft. Some are more plausible than others, but the selection of a player at said position would enable Cleveland to build a Legion of Boom of its own, per se.

The question is: Who are the five safety prospects whom the Cleveland Browns should consider at varying points of the 2018 NFL Draft?
