The New York Jets traded up to No. 3 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft. Which prospects should Todd Bowles and the Jets consider selecting?

The New York Jets have become one of the most influential teams in the 2018 NFL Draft. Previously slotted at No. 6 overall, the Jets parted with a slew of assets to move up three spots and position themselves to select a franchise quarterback.

Now in possession of the No. 3 overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Jets will have a chance to find a genuine star to lead the organization into the future.

New York gave up the No. 6 overall pick and three second-round draft choices to move up to No. 3. It was a somewhat surprising decision, but it clearly displayed the sense of urgency that the front office currently possesses.

The general assumption is that the Jets will utilize the No. 3 overall selection to find a quarterback of the future who can lead the organization to the promise land.

Chances are, the Jets will indeed invest in a quarterback to lead it for the next decade plus. There’s another possibility that New York could explore, however, which rounds this list into form and creates a new opportunity to consider.

The question is: Who are the prospects whom the New York Jets should consider selecting at No. 3 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft?
