The 2018 NFL Draft is flush with promising talent at wide receiver. Who are the five best players at one of the most in-demand positions in the league?

The wide receiver position has reached something of a golden age. Whether or not you believe the talent level is higher than it’s ever been, the contracts are bigger than most wide receivers could have dreamed of receiving.

That’s a direct reflection of how in-demand the position has become, which makes the class entering the 2018 NFL Draft one of significance.

I’m not entirely sure if there’s a true No. 1 wide receiver in the 2018 NFL Draft. There are a number of high-quality prospects who have that ceiling, however, which inevitably beckons the question about who the best at the position truly are.

Thankfully, with the annual selection process rapidly approaching, a healthy enough sample size has been provided to make a decision on the topic at hand.

There are unfortunately players I’ll be omitting, but the top five wide receivers in the 2018 NFL Draft are beginning to create separation from the pack. There’s an admittedly tight competition at No. 5, but the following prospects have earned their placement on this list.

The question is: Who are the top five wide receivers in the 2018 NFL Draft and how might they translate to the highest level?
