Drew Lock is a polarizing player. He has a lot of the physical tools NFL teams look for possessing size and arm strength. Lock even makes some NFL level throws from time to time, but those are not as common in his play as you would like. Lock has awkward footwork and mechanics at time and plays in a spread offense that masks many of his weaknesses. Most concerning, Drew Lock does not do well when the pressure is on and has a propensity to turn the ball over if the defense gets to him. Many mock drafts have Lock in the first round this year, and that may be the case with a weak quarterback class, but I do not think Lock will be the savior of a franchise that a team and their fans will want.
