                                                                 Sleeper: Khalil Hodge, Buffalo

It’s no surprise a great football player from the University of Buffalo. However, does anyone know what NFL superstar played for the Bulls? How about Khalil Mack? The NFL’s best outside linebacker.

Buffalo will again be sending a stud outside linebacker to the NFL in 2019. He may be no Mack but, he’s pretty good in his own way. His name is Khalil Hodge.

When looking at Hodge’s stats, his tackle numbers jump out and scream at you. The senior has 414 career total tackles and only played three years of college football. His lowest number of total tackles in a season was 123 which is much higher than most players all-time best’s.

He isn’t the sack master that prospects like Josh Allen. However, he is someone who will find the football in the open field and be a value as an off ball linebacker.

When looking at video of Hodge, he is around the ball every single play which makes sense for a player who makes well over 100 tackles each season.

Whichever team steals Hodge in the middle of the 2019 NFL Draft is going to get a player who is always looking to make plays and give it full effort each down.
