Buffalo Bills

Team Needs: WR, OT/OG, RB

The Bills believe they have their franchise quarterback in Josh Allen, and they’re poised to put him in position to succeed with their 10 selections in the 2019 NFL Draft. We may see a large jump in the AFC East for Buffalo in 2019.

The Bills may be in a position to snag one of the drafts most gifted receivers in D.K. Metcalf from Ole Miss. Metcalf will have to clear medical tests, but if he does there is a good chance Metcalf is the first receiver off the board in the draft.

A top priority for every team in the NFL is protecting their quarterback, unfortunately, the Bills have failed to do that this season. Josh Allen has frequently been forced outside the pocket and has been running for his life more than the Buffalo faithful would like. Finding protection for Allen will be a priority. Jonah Williams from Alabama is widely considered the best tackle in the class, while Dalton Risner from Kansas State is a versatile offensive lineman who has a high floor.

LeSean McCoy has had a long and productive career, but his best days are behind him. While selecting a running back high in the 1st round is questioned by many, having an effective ground game can be crucial for a young quarterbacks development. There are some intriguing names at running back in the 2019 draft, but a front-runner has not clearly emerged. David Montgomery from Iowa State could be a valuable asset late in the season for Buffalo if he can prove to be athletic enough to play in the NFL.
