Weakness 1: Athletic Ability

While Harris has enough functional athleticism to be successful in the NFL, he doesn’t have any real good athletic traits. His long speed leaves more to be desired and is average frankly, and he won’t routinely be a home-run threat. Agility-wise, again he is functional but he doesn’t really make many defenders miss and just has enough juice to cut to an open lane and not much else. This is the weakness that makes Harris’ ceiling a little low, and doesn’t leave too much room for development.

Weakness 2

: 3rd Down Ability

This goes along with his lack of good athleticism, he runs a very limited route tree and didn’t have too many opportunities to catch balls at Alabama. He may be limited to routes out of the backfield in the NFL and doesn’t offer much versatility. He may be able to develop into a better receiving threat but his ceiling is low in this area. Needs to be more willing as a pass blocker and bring his running mentality into his blocking mindset as it doesn’t currently translate for him now.

Weakness 3

: Play Strength

While Harris’ competitive toughness helps make up for this as a runner, his play strength can fall flat as a blocker. He doesn’t offer much power there and needs to perfect his technique to be good in that area. Won’t really break many tackles straight up with power but in combination with his leverage and competitive toughness. Goes down too easily as times and while he doesn’t have a problem falling forward he’s not a battering ram.
