  • Route Running

Noah Fant can look like an oversized wide receiver from time to time. His ability to cut in and out of routes is impressive. With good footwork and very good speed for his size, he runs very fluid routes. With his size and fluid route running, he can create an incredible mismatch with any defender breaking in and out of his routes.

  • YAC Yards ability

As aforementioned, Fant is fast and can look like an oversized wide receiver. Along with his speed, he also has great balance. If he finds any space at all, he can scoot down the field better than most tight ends. This is very well suited for the modern NFL as he could quickly find himself as both a safety blanket and a playmaker.

  • Acceleration

One of the things that sets Fant apart is his ability to accelerate. He has the capability to quickly leave defenders behind is genuinely impressive. To me, this could be one of the best reasons for an NFL team to take Fant before the other tight ends. If he finds an opening, he has a chance to go a long way.
