87. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. DL. player. Louisiana Tech. Jaylon Ferguson. 16

The Panthers’ defense needs a young pass-rusher to build around. With Julius Peppers becoming a free agent, there is surely a need to fill his spot (his mental acuity and physique will be missed, but Ferguson is a good start to replacing him.) Ferguson leads the FBS in career sacks all-time with 45 and would fit nicely in Ron Rivera’s defense with a variety of nifty pass-rush moves. -Jalon Dodson

Scouting Report. 53. player. . OT. West Virginia. Yodny Cajuste. 17

The offensive line of the Browns came on strong at the end of the 2018 season but needs a franchise left tackle with former number 4 overall pick Greg Robinson currently manning the position and stands as the weak-link of an otherwise strong unit. Cajuste may not be able to take over at left tackle immediately and will need a year of development to refine his technique before making the move. On the tape, Cajuste looks like a classic “dancing bear” offensive tackle who is massive but has quick feet and will additionally maul defenders in the run game. Adding Cajuste will solidify this unit as the best in the NFL and should provide protection for Baker Mayfield for years to come. -Ross O’Keefe

Michigan. Devin Bush. MLB. 18. player. 60. .

The Vikings were all-around disappointing in 2018. Devin Bush would make sense for the Vikings as they are slated to have to re-sign several veterans on defense. Bush brings good speed to that side of the ball. While the Vikings have so much money invested in offensive players, they are forced to hope that the defense can be among the NFL’s best. Bush can help push the Vikings over the top and help propel them to a top five defense. -Grant Tuttle

AJ Brown. 19. player. 35. WR. Ole Miss. .

The Titans offense has been bad for years. Even with Marcus Mariota having four years under his belt the Titans have yet to find a grove. It’s time to get Mariota a reliable weapon. In 2017 Tennessee selected Corey Davis in the first round but, he hasn’t been what they hoped to get out of a top-five pick. With the defense extremely strong the Titans can afford to take a chance to get it right at wide receiver. AJ Brown is the top receiver available and may fall due to many teams not having significant needs at receiver. The Titans should take a chance on the former SEC stand out from Ole Miss. Brown has excellent size and speed and should be a target Mariota can hit deep or in the short game for big yards. As of now, defenses know to plan for a heavy dose of Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis making the Titans predictable. Adding AJ Brown will end predictability. -Aaron Greshon

QB. 20. 55. Oklahoma. Kyler Murray. player. .

Quarterback is not the Steelers most pressing need, but Kyler Murray is a great value at pick 20. Ben Roethlisberger will turn 37 years old in March, and although he is still playing well, the Steelers could have the luxury of grooming a successor. Sure the Steelers drafted Mason Rudolph in the third round last year, but he is nowhere near as talented as Murray. Murray won the Heisman trophy this season after recording 42 touchdowns and only 7 interceptions. Baker Mayfield’s success this season should greatly aid Murray’s draft stock, who is also a short quarterback out of Oklahoma. In a season or two, the Steelers can naturally transition to Murray and continue being a perennial contender. -Jakob Ashlin
