The 2019 NFL Draft could feature as many as four quarterbacks in the first round, including a legitimate candidate at No. 1 overall.

Below are With The First Pick’s post-combine 2019 quarterback rankings. More quarterbacks will be added to this list over the next month or so. Rankings are fluid and will be updated as the NFL draft approaches.

1.

Kyler Murray QB

Oklahoma Sooners

Murray has clearly separated himself from Dwayne Haskins as the top quarterback in the 2019 NFL draft, and for good reason. He’s just as talented of a passer as Haskins and he’s in a different category altogether as an athlete. Murray is a better prospect than Lamar Jackson was last year and might be the best dual-threat quarterback to enter the NFL since Michael Vick. The Russell Wilson comps are accurate, and Murray should be the first pick in the draft. He’s going to win a lot of games in the NFL.

GRADE: 1st round

2.

Dwayne Haskins QB

Ohio State Buckeyes

Combine results

Haskins looks the part from a physical standpoint and he has more than enough arm talent to make every throw on the NFL route tree. He’s a smart quarterback with very good pocket presence and plus accuracy, traits that are prerequisites for success in the NFL. But his lack of mobility is a major negative in his evaluation. He needs to end up with a team that has a sound offensive line or he’s going to struggle to make plays.

GRADE: Late-1st, early-2nd round

3.

Daniel Jones QB

Kentucky Wildcats

Combine results

Jones is jockeying with Drew Lock for QB3 status and there’s a chance he could fall behind Lock by the time draft weekend rolls around. But Jones’ tape — while not perfect — has impressive moments in the intermediate passing game. He won’t make a living on the deep ball, but he’s been well-coached and will offer teams a player with starter’s traits early in his career.

GRADE: 2nd round

4.

Drew Lock QB

Missouri Tigers

Combine results

Lock has a very good chance at being a first-round pick because of the NFL’s infatuation with his live arm, but his tape is wildly inconsistent. He isn’t the most accurate passer in this class and while he carries himself with the moxie of a starter, he often performs like a very inexperienced player. He has a ways to go before a team can anoint him the future of a franchise.  That said, he has undeniable traits, and if he can sit and learn behind an experienced veteran for two or three seasons, there’s certainly enough upside for Lock to eventually become an NFL starter.

GRADE: 2nd-3rd round

5.

Will Grier QB

West Virginia Mountaineers
West Virginia Mountaineers /

Combine results

Grier could slide into the later rounds and will be a bargain if he’s on the board midway through Day 3. He projects as a quality NFL backup who has enough upside to develop into a starter at some point in his career. He’ll undergo an adjustment period in life after West Virginia offensive football, but I wouldn’t bet against Grier finding himself in a quarterback competition at some point before his first contract expires.

GRADE: 3rd-4th round
