The Giants remain committed to Eli Manning — at least in the short term — and will bypass the chance to add Dwayne Haskins to grab Taylor, who projects as the best offensive tackle prospect in this year’s class. Taylor played right tackle at Florida, but there’s no reason to suggest he can’t excel at left tackle in the NFL. Regardless, New York needs to just keep adding talent to the offensive line. This pick is a huge step in that direction.. OT
Talk about an absolute steal for the Jaguars. Williams might be one of the two or three most talented players in this year’s draft, but as we see every single year, one of those guys always ends up lasting a little longer than they should. 9. player. 16. Need, meet value. Value, meet need. This is exactly how Bills fans should hope the first round unfolds in April. Buffalo has a high-end playmaker at quarterback in Josh Allen, but the Bills have to bolster the offensive line to maximize Allen’s natural arm talent. Williams is a very, very safe pick and will be a plug-and-play starter at either tackle or guard.
