player. 87. Ford slips a bit in this mock draft, as some draft analysts have him pegged for a top-10 selection. And it’s possible he will be. But assuming he’s on the board when Carolina picks in Round 1, they’ll pounce. The Panthers can’t afford to let QB Cam Newton take any more hits, especially not after offseason shoulder surgery that has his immediate future in doubt. Enter Ford, who brings a starter’s skill set at offensive tackle from the first day he steps foot inside the Panthers’ locker room.. OL. Oklahoma. Cody Ford. 16

53. Oliver began the season as a contender for the No. 1 overall pick, so grabbing him here at No. 17 is quite the steal for the Browns. Oliver is a rare athlete playing interior defensive line and while his position and scheme fit may not be truly known until a season or two into his career, the simple fact is he’s a disruptive playmaker who will make whichever team drafts him a more dangerous defense.. DL. Houston. Ed Oliver. 17. player

The Vikings offensive line has been terrible in recent seasons, making Bradbury a value and need pick in Round 1. Even if Minnesota’s bigger need is at tackle, adding blue-chip talent to the interior of the offensive line will help. Bradbury is a plug-and-play starter who will help strengthen the run game and limit interior pressure.. iOL. NC State. Garrett Bradbury. 18. player. 60

TE. Iowa. Noah Fant. 19. player. 35. The Titans need to add another weapon in the passing game and can’t continue relying on Delanie Walker to produce at a high level at tight end, especially not after suffering a season-ending injury early in 2018. Fant is this year’s most athletic and exciting pass-catching tight end and despite not receiving as much attention as his teammate T.J. Hockenson, it will be Fant who comes off the board first.

The Steelers’ defense hasn’t been the same since losing Ryan Shazier to a neck injury in 2017. They finally get a chance to add a top-tier athlete and tackling machine in Bush, who in any other year would be the premier inside linebacker prospect. Bush will immediately enhance the speed and intensity of Pittsburgh’s defense.. LB. Michigan. Devin Bush. 20. player. 55
