Round 3, Pick 68: Emanuel Hall | WR | Missouri

The Jets will continue their investment in Sam Darnold with the selection of Hall, who is one of the more intriguing wide receiver prospects in the 2019 NFL draft.

Hall is one of this year’s best downfield threats. He appeared in just eight games in 2018, registering 37 catches for 828 yards and six touchdowns. He was top quarterback prospect Drew Lock’s favorite target when healthy, averaging more than 22 yards per reception over the last two years.

Hall has a chance to be one of those players who grossly outplay his draft position. He’s that dynamic down the field. His 4.39 40-yard dash at the NFL combine confirmed everything he shows on tape.

The Jets added Jamison Crowder in free agency to be their slot receiver. Robby Anderson and Quincy Enunwa are solid veterans who will return to the starting lineup in 2019, but Hall has the kind of big-play upside that’s lacking in the receiving corps. He’d be a great pick to round out what has suddenly become an impressive group of young pass-catchers.
