Round 4, Pick 107: Kris Boyd | CB | Texas

Kris Boyd would be great value here in the fourth round and with his draft stock seemingly on the decline in recent weeks, there’s a chance this can become reality.

Boyd had a strong NFL combine performance where he checked in at 5-11, 201 pounds and ran a 4.45 40-yard dash. His speed times matched his film, and his 200-plus pound frame mirrors the aggressive style he plays the position with.

Boyd is an asset against the run but he isn’t entering the NFL with top-tier coverage traits. A switch to safety could be in his future, but for now (and in this mock), he gives the Bucs a player with upside for their secondary.
