2019 NFL Mock Draft, 3.0: Murray headlines 4 QBs in top 15

The Panthers lost Devin Funchess to the Colts in free agency and need to replace his size in their receiving corps. They do it in spades here with Metcalf, who isn’t just a big-bodied guy. He’s a legit vertical threat who, in time, can be one of the most dominant receivers in the league. He’s a top-10 player in this class but slides a bit in this mock draft scenario.
The Giants will continue their investment on offense with this selection of Williams, who’s one of this year’s safest prospects. He’s virtually bust-proof. He has the skill set needed to be a starting tackle in the NFL, but if he struggles, he’ll become one of the game’s best interior linemen. For a New York squad that will go from one stationary quarterback to another (in this scenario, Dwayne Haskins), strengthening the offensive line is a must.
Need, meet value. Value, meet need. The Vikings have no choice but to improve their offensive line in the first round, and Bradbury is the best all-around interior lineman in this year’s draft. In order for Minnesota’s offense to take full advantage of Dalvin Cook and Kirk Cousins, the push up front has to get better. Bradbury will be a massive step in the right direction.
Hockenson has been a favorite of draft analysts since the 2019 NFL draft process kicked off, but I think he could experience a bit of a draft-day slide. He’ll come off the board at No. 19 in this mock draft to a Titans team that needs some youth and long-term upside behind veteran Delanie Walker. In fact, Hockenson has enough natural ability to unseat Walker as a starter in 2019 while contributing as a powerful run blocker and reliable receiver in the passing game.
Rarely does it take this long for a cornerback to come off the board, but the 2019 NFL draft doesn’t have an elite prospect at the position in its ranks. Williams is the best of the bunch, however, and the Steelers need a player with his length and playmaking ability at the position. Williams won’t be an All-Pro, but his projection as a reliable starter is every bit worth a first-round pick.
