After a disappointing 2018 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars get offensive in this complete seven-round mock draft.

The Jacksonville Jaguars filled their biggest offseason need with the signing of former Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles, who for $22 million per season, is expected to be the franchise passer required to complement an already top-tier defense.

But Foles won’t be enough to put the Jaguars over the top in 2019, especially not with the emergence of Colts in the AFC South.

Fortunately for GM David Caldwell, the Jaguars have some premium picks in a draft class deep enough to provide starting-quality talent in the first three rounds. They have seven picks, with four coming in the first 98 selections.

Here’s what a realistic seven-round draft haul could look like for Jacksonville.

Round 1, Pick 7: D.K. Metcalf | WR | Ole Miss

The Jaguars aren’t going to get the most out of their investment in Foles if they don’t give him a big-bodied target who can make plays down the field. Enter D.K. Metcalf, whose combination of size (6-3) and straight-line speed (4.33 40-yard dash) would pay immediate dividends in a Jacksonville offense that already has smaller receivers who possess the kind of quickness to make plays in the short and intermediate passing game.
