Hakeem Butler doesn’t make the cut

The fact that Hakeem Butler didn’t make Daniel Jeremiah’s top-50 is surprising by itself, but potentially more surprising is that he has six receivers (at least) ranked ahead of him, including Georgia’s Riley Ridley.

And while Jeremiah’s big board isn’t a prediction about when players will get drafted, it would be a complete shock if Butler isn’t, at worst, the third receiver selected later this month.

Butler’s combination of size, speed, catch radius and after-the-catch ability ranks him close to D.K. Metcalf as the most appealing receiver prospect in this year’s class.
