Round 4, Pick 112: Justice HIll | RB | Oklahoma State

The Bills addressed running back in free agency with the signing of Frank Gore, who will combine with LeSean McCoy to give Buffalo a very (very) experienced one-two punch. But they need some youth and more juice at the position, and that’s where Justice Hill comes in.

Hill isn’t a big back (5-11, 198 pounds), but he can fly. He ran a 4.40 40-yard dash at the NFL combine and his tape is proof that he plays just as fast. He totaled 939 yards and nine touchdowns in 2018, numbers which fell way short of his 2017 season when he ran for 1,467 yards and 15 scores. If he duplicated that production last season, he’d be firmly entrenched as a Day 2 guy. Again, in this scenario, it’s a big win for Buffalo.

Hill is going to begin his career as a change-of-pace guy in the NFL, but if he proves capable of shouldering a bigger workload, he has more than enough natural running ability to be a first-stringer.
