The Denver Broncos are one of several teams picking in the top 15 who could use a young franchise quarterback, but will they find him in the 2019 NFL draft?

The Denver Broncos are a hard team to figure out heading into the 2019 NFL draft. They hired Vic Fangio as head coach instead of going the trendy young offensive-guru route, they traded for Joe Flacco, and they signed Ja’Wuan James to a four-year, $52 million deal in free agency.

Are any of those moves bad decisions? No, absolutely not. But do they generate much excitement in the fan base for 2019 and beyond? No, not really.

And that’s where the 2019 NFL draft comes in. Armed with the 10th overall pick, the Broncos will be in prime position to add an exciting player to build the program around.

Will it be a quarterback? Or maybe a dominant interior defensive lineman? What if they can play the draft board perfectly and end up with both after two rounds?

That’s what happens here in this three-round mock draft.
