Round 1, Pick 30: Hakeem Butler, WR, Iowa State

Is there a better way to make Aaron Rodgers happy than by adding Noah Fant with the 12th pick and Hakeem Butler, arguably this year’s top receiver, with the 30th? I can’t think of any.

Butler (6-5, 227) is a walking physical mismatch. His rare size is even more lethal when considering his top-end speed; Butler ran a 4.48 40-yard dash at the NFL combine.

Butler isn’t just a big dude who can run fast, either. He’s a schooled route-runner who consistently shows the ability to separate on film. His biggest problem, believe it or not, are his hands; he has way too many drops. But his upside is as high as any offensive player in this year’s class.

Adding Butler (who had 1,318 yards and nine touchdowns last season) to the Packers offense would make their first-round haul an A+.
