Round 2, Pick 44: Greg Little, OT, Ole Miss

Why not stick with the help-Aaron-Rodgers-theme a little longer? In the second round, the Packers give the future Hall-of-Famer some more protection up front with Ole Miss offensive tackle, Greg Little.

Little began the 2018 season as one of the top overall prospects in the class. He was considered a sure-fire first-rounder. But a sub-par year and less-than-ideal NFL combine performance have hurt his stock. He’s more of an early second-round pick at this point.

The Packers have to eventually move on from Bryan Bulaga, who’s entering the final year of his contract. Selecting Little here in the second round would be a one-step-ahead move by a Packers organization that can’t sit back and wait before investing in an offensive tackle again.
