Round 3, Pick 96: Maxx Crosby, edge, Eastern Michigan

Washington ends Day 2 by adding some help to the pass rush with Eastern Michigan’s Maxx Crosby.

Crosby had 18.5 sacks over the last two seasons and possesses the kind of length and flexibility that usually translates into success as a pass rusher in the NFL. He isn’t ready to step in and start right away, but he’d serve the role of rotational pass rusher well early in his career.

Assuming he can add some weight and build up his core strength, Crosby has a chance to be a very good starter and a player who outproduces his third-round draft slot.
