Round 2, Pick 50: Jerry Tillery, DL, Notre Dame

There’s a lot to like in Jerry Tillery’s game, so much so that he could end up a late-first-round pick come draft weekend. Consistency matters to NFL teams, though, and Tillery simply wasn’t consistently dominant enough to be considered a sure-fire first-round pick.

Now, add him to a defensive line like the Vikings’? Wow. The results could be scary. In fact, if Tillery begins to slide into the early portion of the second round, he’d be an ideal trade-up candidate for Minnesota to target. A front four of Danielle Hunter, Linval Joseph, Tillery and Everson Griffin is downright scary.
