28. . RB. Alabama. Joshua Jacobs. 27. player

The Raiders turn to offense with their final first-rounder, adding Jacobs to be the headliner in the running game. He’ll join Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams in Oakland’s rebuild of the skill positions.

iDL. Christian Wilkins. 28. player. 13. . Clemson

Wilkins will seem like a consolation prize after Ed Oliver and Quinnen Williams, but he has just as good of a chance at being a high-impact defender as any player in this year’s class. This is his absolute floor; he could be gone way before this.

DeAndre Baker. 29. player. 36. . CB. Georgia

The Seahawks will use the pick they acquired from the Chiefs in the Frank Clark trade to give back to the defense. Baker is one of the better pure cover guys in this year’s draft and if he tested better in the run-up to the draft, he probably would’ve been a top-15 pick. Instead, he falls to Seattle here at 29.

player. 49. . iOL. Boston College. Chris Lindstrom. 30

Another gift to Aaron Rodgers after Green Bay selected Noah Fant at No. 12. Here at 30, the Packers go with Lindstrom, who pound-for-pound is the best interior offensive lineman in the draft.

player. 51. . iOL. Texas A&M. Erik McCoy. 31

The Rams follow the Packers route and go with an interior offensive lineman as well. The only thing that can slow down Los Angeles’ high-power offense is the offensive line, and adding a player like McCoy is a huge step in shoring up the interior.

Alabama. Irv Smith, Jr.. 32. player. 47. . TE

It feels like draft media has forgotten about Rob Gronkowski’s retirement and the impact it will have on the team’s first-round pick. Not me. They’ll go with a tight end here, and the best one left on the board is Smith. He’ll be a legit playmaker in Year 1.
