Even with Josh Rosen, the Dolphins tank for Tua

Poor Josh Rosen. His career appears cursed at this point. One year removed from being the 10th pick overall by the Cardinals, he was shipped to the Dolphins for pennies on the dollar because Arizona and new coach Kliff Kingsbury preferred Kyler Murray, who they selected No. 1 overall this year.

The trade to Miami seems great for Rosen. He’s going to a team that’s in its first phase of a rebuild. He should be a key variable in their rebuilding effort; their franchise quarterback.

But according to McShay, Rosen will face the same drama next April that he faced this year when Miami pegs Tua Tagovailoa as the face of their franchise.

Tua is the top quarterback on my board right now and, as crazy as this will be for Rosen, it’s a very realistic scenario. It would be quite the fall for a player once viewed as a blue-chip quarterback prospect.
