Dallas Cowboys

Jerry Jones and the Cowboys didn’t have a first-round pick in 2019 because of the trade for WR Amari Cooper, which worked out really well for them. But they could’ve really juiced up the offense in the second round had they opted to continue their investment in Dak Prescott and the passing game.

Dallas selected UCF defensive lineman Trysten Hill in Round 2, and while Hill projects as at least a rotational piece with starter’s upside in the short term, he won’t make the same kind of impact that WR D.K. Metcalf could’ve offered. Metcalf slipped to the end of the second round where the Seahawks gobbled him up; he’s going to be one of the biggest steals of the entire class.

Imagine a Cowboys offense with Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Cooper and D.K. Metcalf? That could’ve been pretty special.
