Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals had one of the best draft classes in the entire league in 2019, which makes it really difficult to find a pick they should do over. But if we have to choose one, it would be UMass WR Andy Isabella, who Arizona selected in the second round.

To be clear, Isabella is a very good player and he projects as a Brandin Cooks-type weapon in the NFL, assuming he can adjust to the physical and more dynamic pro cornerbacks. But with the investment the Cardinals made in QB Kyler Murray with the first overall pick, it seems almost negligent that they didn’t address the offensive line in the second round.

Murray’s teammate, OT Bobby Evans, slid into the third round (Rams) and while he isn’t an elite prospect, he would’ve represented an upgrade for an Arizona front-five that’s screaming for help.

Sure, Isabella could end up being a 1,000-yard receiver who makes a lot of plays with Murray over the next several seasons. But if this team can’t protect its franchise quarterback, the offense will never reach it maximum upside.

They whiffed by not addressing the offensive line.
