San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers were one of the easiest do-overs in the NFC West after selecting punter Mitch Wishnowsky in the fourth round.

Yes, there’s value in specialists like Wishnowsky, and yes, good (if not great) punters can go a long way in determining field position on Sundays. But with a talented cornerback Kendall Sheffield still on the board, combined with the 49ers’ need at cornerback, GM John Lynch should’ve tapped into the Ohio State program again after snagging Nick Bosa with the second overall pick.

How much really needs to be said about this? Replacing a punter with a cornerback who has a potential starter’s skill set is about as no-brainer of a swap as there is.
