Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Unlike the Saints, the do-over for the Buccaneers is as easy as it gets. They spent a fifth-round pick on a kicker, Utah’s Matt Gay, and that’s just never acceptable. In fact, Tampa Bay should’ve learned from its own mistake after spending a second-round pick on Roberto Aguayo a few years ago.

The Buccaneers need edge defenders and Texas’ Charles Omenihu would’ve been a good pick here. He isn’t a high-end sack guy and he probably will end up being a rotational player by the time his career maxes out, but those players tend to have an important role in a roster’s construction and are usually found around this point in the draft.

To pass on Omenihu in favor of a kicker who, while talented, probably won’t make nearly the same impact on a game-to-game basis that a quality edge defender can is simply foolish.
