2019 NFL Draft Do-Overs: AFC East
By Bryan Perez
New England Patriots
It’s hard to argue with anything the Patriots do, but their first-round selection of WR N’Keal Harry feels like a reach.
Harry is a big-bodied possession receiver with after-the-catch ability, but the better fit for Tom Brady and New England’s offense would’ve been South Carolina’s Deebo Samuel.
Samuel has a certain star quality about him as a route-runner and is like a running back when he has the ball in his hands. He reminds me a lot of Minnesota’s Stefon Diggs.
Samuel, paired with Julian Edelman, would’ve given opposing secondaries nightmares.
