New York Jets

The biggest do-over for the Jets probably should be their general manager. The guy they trusted to make all their picks in a critical rebuilding year, Mike Maccagnan, was fired just a couple of weeks after the draft concluded. So, yeah, it would’ve been smart to have a guy you trust to build your roster calling the shots.

But for purposes of this assignment, we’ll re-do the Chuma Edoga pick. The USC offensive tackle has some promising upside, but there was a better prospect at the same position still on the board in West Virginia’s Yodny Cajuste.

Cajuste slipped in the draft because of a quad injury that will keep him on the shelf for much of the offseason. The Patriots scooped him up 10 picks after New York selected Edoga. He’ll end up having the better career as a legitimate starter at left or right tackle.
