Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens added much-needed juice at wide receiver in the first-round selection of Oklahoma’s Marquise Brown, but they could’ve done a better job in the third round when they opted for a bigger-bodied target in Notre Dames Miles Boykin. Instead, they should’ve gone with Iowa State’s Hakeem Butler.

Boykin’s draft stock soared after a monster performance at the 2019 NFL Combine, but his tape wasn’t nearly as impressive as Butler’s, who ultimately was selected in the fourth round by the Cardinals.

And that’s not to say Butler didn’t have a successful showing at the Combine himself.  He ran a 4.48 40-yard dash at 6-5, 227 pounds.

Butler’s fall on draft weekend remains a big mystery, but the Ravens could’ve done better by adding him to the roster to complement Brown’s downfield speed.
