Cleveland Browns

All hail the Browns, who had arguably the best performance of any team in the 2019 NFL Draft, especially when factoring their decision to trade the No. 17 pick (in an overall package) for Odell Beckham, Jr.

That said, we have no choice but to find a do-over. And for Cleveland, that pick comes in the fifth round. They selected Oklahoma kicker Austin Seibert when they could’ve addressed the secondary with Kansas State’s Duke Shelley.

Shelley was selected by the Bears in the sixth round.

The Browns selected LSU’s Greedy Williams in the second round and are a year removed from hitting a home run on Denzel Ward in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.  Adding Shelley as depth or even a candidate to line up as a nickel corner would’ve been a much better use of their fifth-round pick.
