Pittsburgh Steelers

No offense in the NFL will have as much attention on it as the Steelers in 2019 with the departures of Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell. Pittsburgh already has experienced life after Bell, who sat out all of last season in a decision that allowed James Conner to emerge as the running back of the present and future.

But it’s a different story altogether at receiver, where the task to replace Brown’s production seems near-impossible. The Steelers identified third-round pick Diontae Johnson (Toledo) as a player with a similar skill set to Brown who may eventually turn into a productive option in the passing game, but Ohio State’s Terry McClaurin would’ve been a better option as a schooled, well-rounded and mature prospect who is ready to contribute immediately in 2019.

Ultimately, Pittsburgh’s passing game will begin and end with JuJu Smith-Schuster, but a player like McClaurin could’ve been a really nice complementary piece added in the third round.
